ABP, one of the UK’s leading food producers, is helping people into work by creating 200 new entry level vacancies and apprenticeships in collaboration with Youth Employment UK, an organisation dedicated to tackling youth unemployment.
The roles span a range of diverse opportunities within the company’s meat food processing business and offer young people the chance to work at one of the fourteen ABP locations across the country. The tie up with not-for-profit social enterprise Youth Employment UK, will reinforce ABP’s recruitment outreach by showcasing and driving awareness of the apprenticeships through their community.
The programme has been set up within the ABP Talent Academy scheme which supports colleagues with personal career development alongside the more technical training to help people achieve both their personal and professional goals. ABP looks forward to promoting careers within a fast-paced and exciting industry with the opportunities spanning a variety of areas including butchery, abattoir, process improvement, engineering, IT and technical.
