NUGENT Engineering will be showcasing a new range of products at this year’s Fintona Show, including its new Baler Feeder and new style horsebox.
Visitors will get to see the latest Nugent Bale Feeder which complements Nugent’s existing bale handling range which has been designed to save time, money and wastage on the farm whilst reducing manual handling and prioritising the safety of both animal and driver.
The bale feeder is capable of being used on three point linkage, front loader or farm handler and with the quick-attach automated locking system eradicates manual input previously required by the driver and means bales can also be loaded and unloaded from the comfort of the cab. A rear guard is fitted as standard for extra protection and prevention of overspill which dramatically reduces wastage and keeps passages clear.
A high density polyethlene single piece floor reduces spillage friction to allow for easier feeding and adjustable feed rates on the two-sided feeder can be controlled by the motor, which had been positioned through clever design to protect the user.
The all new Nugent Spirit horseboxes will be showcased for the first time at Fintona. The new horseboxes are now made from an aluminium composite, with no wood being used in the frame this maximises durability by minimising rot. The absence of wood also reduced the unladen weight of the trailer and therefore increasing the payload.
