BALLYEASTON Vintage Tractor Club handed over a cheque for £1,500 to the Friends of the Cancer Centre at its annual dinner dance, held in McConnell’s of Doagh.

Jim Kane, representing Friends of the Cancer Centre, thanked Ballyeaston for their generosity.

The money was raised at the annual concert in February, starring Michael McSparron, Billy McFarland, Marie Murnin and Cowboy Larry, and also the annual gathering in Ballyeaston in June.

A Ballyeaston spokesperson thanked McConnells of Doagh for the delicious meal, and the use of the facilities, also all those who once again turned up to support the Club.

Music was by Doagh’s number one Country singer Philip Strange.
