Belfast lighting up to markWorld Down’s Syndrome Day

Belfast City Hall will be lighting up blue and yellow on Saturday, March 21, to mark World Down’s Syndrome Day 2020.

World Down’s Syndrome Day celebrates people with Down’s Syndrome highlighting the vital role they play in our lives and communities.

The illumination will also celebrate the 50th anniversary of the formation of the Down’s Syndrome Association of Northern Ireland.

Helping Lord Mayor Daniel Baker make the announcement were three year old Lucius Corey, top and Sarah McVeigh and Anna Joudeh, members of the Families with Ups and Downs support group, below.
