Belfast-based Greenfields Ireland has won major UK awards for the quality of its salted and unsalted butters.
The company, among the world’s leading dairy traders, collected the prestigious ‘Best Dairy Product’ in the recent British Cheese Awards 2019 in London for its salted butter.
In addition, Greenfields won two golds for its unsalted and salted butters and a bronze for its branded butter.
Greenfields Ireland was established in 1992 as NIDCO Food. From its formation it has evolved and traded as Greenfields Ireland since July 2008 and currently has a workforce of around 30 people.
While the company is based in Belfast, it has regional offices in Nantwich, England (Greenfields Ingredients) and in Dubai (Greenfields Ireland LLC).
It is an international dairy trading company supplying dairy ingredients, specialist milk products and finished dairy products to customers throughout Europe, the Middle East, South America, Far East and Africa.
It sources an extensive range of products, including butter, AMF, milk powders and a range of cheeses from suppliers locally in Northern Ireland, other parts of the United Kingdom, Europe, Asia, North and South America and Oceania.
The office in Belfast is the hub of the sales and marketing and export administration teams and is focused on anticipating and meeting the needs of is global customer base.
