TODAY (Thursday, April 22) at 11am, three bulls from the Inch herd will be offered for sale in Dungannon Market.
The three bulls will meet the requirements of many dairy farmers and have all already been used in the Inch herd. Being a blend of the best Holstein and Friesian bloodlines, they are all bred for production and strength.
Inch York, a two year old bull, is 78 per cent Holstein with the outstanding Friesian Blackisle Glenablyn making up the rest of his pedigree.
His sire Yoda is + 820kgs milk, +0.09 per cent bf, +0,04 per cent protein, chest width +0.98, teat length+0.25 and great type. His VG dam has given 10,103kgs 4.47 per cent bf and 3.55 per cent protein.
Inch Decent is 92 per cent Friesian and the rest of his pedigree comes from leading Snow-N- Denises Dellia EX 95 family. His sire Tittenser Hylke has 3,686 daughters in his proof with bf +0.11 per cent and protein +0.16 per cent. His VG dam has given 10,702kgs 4.53 per cent bf 3.49 per cent protein.
Inch Notable (blend of Holstein and Friesian) is sired by Niaho that breeds the type of Holstein cattle many require with high production (+824 kgs), chest width (+1.83), good teat length (+1.48).
His dam Inch Guarini Dellia EX 92 has already given 50 tons in four lactations with 12,232kgs 4.28 per cent bf 3.49 per cent protein in second lactation.
The three bulls have different percentages of Holstein and Friesian in the blend to compliment the cows in the buyer’s herd.
The herd also offers in the sale a few quality young cows classified to VG 86 as heifers and giving over 40 litres.
