Braid Spark Plug rally firing on all cylinders

THE sun shone on Braid Valley Vintage Enthusiasts Ltd as it held its first ever Spark Plug Tractor Road Run, dedicated to the older petrol/TVO vehicles, most of which do less than four miles an hour.

The aim was to give a chance for the slower tractors to get out on the road, something they can’t really do in the club’s other traditional tractor run in September.

The cavalcade met at William Hamill and Sons Potatoes on the Hazelbank Road, before embarking on a seven mile route along the Kilnacolpagh, Lough, Lisles Hill roads before returning to the starting point.

Braid Valley Vintage Enthusiasts Ltd would like to sincerely thank William Hamill and Sons for the use of its premises, and all those who helped in any way to make this inaugural event such a success.
