CAFRE Children in Need simulator challenge

CAFRE Children in Need simulator challenge
RIGHT: CAFRE Enniskillen students recently raised £509.19 for BBC Children In Need by completing a 24 hour simulator challenge using the horseracing simulators at the Campus.

By Sarah Donald, Equine Lecturer

ON November 14 students (and staff) of CAFRE Enniskillen got involved in raising money for BBC Children In Need.

Organised by the Student Re-creation Committee (SRC), the students created a timetable to keep one of the horseracing simulators running continuously for 24 hours. It was light seat only so no sitting allowed!

It was tough getting through the small hours of the morning but they did it and in turn raised over £500 in sponsorship and donations.
