Capacity turnout for Garvagh Clydesdale Vintage Club awards

THERE was a capacity turnout for the annual presentation and celebration evening of Garvagh Clydesdale and Vintage Vehicle Club hosted at the local Royal British Legion Hall.

Club chairman Nevin Smith welcomed all and gave a brief recap of a very busy and successful year for the club which included the annual spring ploughing match, a quiz night with wide community support, and the highlight of the year, the vintage and Clydesdale show, which attracted interest from across the six counties, concluding with a grand parade through the town.

n Musicians Ciaran Kelly, Eoin Mullan and Hugh Pearse Mullan chose the back row to enjoy their treats at the Garvagh Clydesdale and Vintage Vehicle Club annual presentation and celebration evening. :

He paid tribute to all the club members and friends who supported the year’s programme and their efforts resulted in the distribution of £8,000 on the night to attending community and charity representatives.

n Dr. Richard Mullan, Garvagh Health Centre, Sean Faulkner and Siobhan Ferris enjoying healthy choices served by Elizabeth McQuillan at the Garvagh Clydesdale and Vintage Vehicle Club annual presentation and celebration evening. :

Everyone also enjoyed a delicious array of refreshments followed by displays by musicians and Irish dancers.
