The Glens of Antrim Historical Society was founded in 1965 to “study the history and traditions of the Glens and to preserve such knowledge”.
Membership is open to anyone interested in local history.
The society publishes an annual journal, “The Glynns”, which is launched each year at its Annual General Meeting in September.
Recently, the society received financial sponsorship of £525 from Michael McKillop, co-owner of Glens of Antrim Distillery to help towards the production costs of Volume 49 of The Glynns.
The Historical Society is extremely grateful for this very generous donation from Mr McKillop, which will help enormously with the production costs.
