CLOUGHMILLS Vintage Club has handed over a cheque for £2,000 to the Simpson family as a result of its annual rally, held in June.
Eight-year-old Harry and his family, past members of the club and still good supporters of Cloughmills, had to relocate to Bristol so he could receive treatment for leukaemia.
Harry’s parents, Gemma and William Simpson, expressed thanks to the Clough-mills Club for its generous donation.
Next up for Cloughmills is the annual Road Run on Saturday, September 17.
It’s £10 per vehicle for the run, which leaves the Mill Yard at noon sharp, travelling along Drumadoon, Killagan, Bell-
aghy, Station, Springmount, Doury, Dern-aveagh, Loughmagarry, Clougher, Bally, Doury, Rockstown, Cloughwater and Bally-
creagh roads before returning to Clough-mills. The half way stop is at the yard of the Grassmen.
