THE final of the annual YFCU Home Management competition took place virtually on Wednesday, June 17.  The final was the culmination of several competition stages which began back in autumn 2019.

Supported by Northern Ireland Pork, this year’s task was to produce a two-course meal (main and dessert) with a focus on using ingredients that are commonly found in our kitchen cupboards which reflects the current lockdown situation. The ‘hero’ ingredient of the main had to be at least one type of Northern Ireland pork and bacon.
