CRAIGANTLET Riding Club was delighted to welcome Grace Williams from Air Ambulance NI, to its recent ‘Up a Level’ dressage training night, held at Birr House Riding Centre, by kind permission of Caroline McVeigh.
Craigantlet may not be the largest riding club in Northern Ireland, but it is certainly one of the most enthusiastic and friendliest, always keen to run a wide range of events and training, and to fundraise for worthy causes.
The club members had raised an impressive total of £637, through a range of fundraising activities, including tombolas and donations, and the committee had no hesitation in pointing the club’s efforts towards Air Ambulance NI.
Receiving the cheque from Leona Solan, club chairman, Grace Williams expressed her gratitude to all club members in raising this excellent sum of money, and that it would go towards the continued running of the invaluable service provided by the Air Ambulance.
Craigantlet Riding Club will be continuing to plan and run training and events, under the recent Covid restrictions, and would ask members to watch the club Facebook site for information and guidance.
