Dairy conferences draw the crowds

more than 400 delegates attended two conferences for dairy farmers in CAFRE’s Greenmount Campus, Antrim, and at The Silverbirch Hotel, Omagh.

The ‘Unlock your herd’s potential’ conference was organised by CAFRE, Dairy UK and UFU and focused on improvements in herd performance with reduced antimicrobial use and improved herd management.

A number of international and local speakers focused on how they, as farmers, researchers, vets and advisers, promote herd health and subsequent performance by focusing on herd management practices.
