Members of Dungiven YFCU launching their annual charity tractor run, which this year starts from Aghanloo showgrounds on Friday, June 25, leaving at 7pm sharp and finishing at the McFarlane Animal Health Farm facility, 22 Gortnacross Road, Dungiven, BT47 4QP, for lots of reminiscing and tasty refreshments.
Proceeds of the event are for the support of the club and Limavady Initiative For The Prevention of Suicide (LIPS).
The launch night, the first club meeting since November due to Covid restrictions, was hosted at Broighter Gold, Myroe, Limavady.
Hosts Richard and Leona Kane gave the club members lots of interesting information about the history of the area, the farming of rapeseed and subsequent production of the famed Broighter Gold Rapeseed Oil.
