THE venue for the first early sale organised by the Dutch Spotted Society proved a success with a packed salering right to the end and maintaining a steady trade throughout. An excellent show of stock was offered by vendors and bidders were keen to purchase with an excellent clearance rate.
Leading prices as follows:
n Emma Allen and Allen Shortt – Diamond Felix, a Carlaustan Extrovert x Bella II ram lamb, sold for 3000gns to Stephen and Patrick Fee of the Tullygowan Flock in County Fermanagh.
n S & S Killen – Ballintur Flavour, a Myreside Elite x TY-Gwyn Cindy ewe lamb, sold for 2700gns to David Kilpatrick of the Hillside Flock in County Donegal.
n Russell Millen – Knockmult Fairytale, a Myreside Elite x TY-Gwyn Cindy ewe lamb, sold for 2200gns to Adam Donald of the Willbraid flock in County Tyrone.
n Russell Millen – Knockmult Frampton, another ET brother to the previous lot, sold for 2200gns to Henry Jewitt of the Sunnybank Flock in Barnard Castle.
n Adam Donald – Willbraid Freddie, a Lochlad Extravagance x Glencloy Carol ram lamb, sold for 2100gns to Kyle Henning of the Brackagh Flock in County Armagh.
n Emma Allen and Allen Shortt – Diamond Fantasia, an ET sister to the sale topper, sold for 2000gns to a north of England buyer.
n A & C Richardson – Cleenagh Fiddle Sticks, a Kilroot Everest x Sunnybank dam ewe lamb, sold for 2000gns to Declan McElhennon.
n A & C Richardson – Cleenagh Fancy Pants, another by Everest X Kilroot Dawn ewe lamb, went at 2000gns to Joanne Reid.
