RDA East Antrim were delighted to welcome a little group of eight kids from all over the province on their RDA Give it a Go Summer scheme, which took place at Laurel View, Templepatrick on all the Thursdays in August. This was a great success, with all who attended accompanied by their parents/ carers, who gave great feedback on how much their child enjoyed and progressed over the four sessions.
It was clear to see from the happy smiley faces that they were having a great time – not to mention the volunteers, who were so glad to be back after such a long break.
Thanks go to the East Antrim group volunteers and also Ballyclare and Antrim, who provided extra helpers to enable the East Antrim group to operate these fun days. Thanks also to Laurel View, who provided such trusty ponies for the riders.
The East Antrim RDA group are seeking volunteers, as they will be starting back in October with Hillcroft school. If you or anyone you know would like to assist, please email: email@example.com or contact Judith Watt on 07831 304220 with any queries.
