East Down celebrate Area Dressage Open wins

EAST Down Branch of the Pony Club had a great day at the Pony Club Area Dressage held at Laurel View, Templepatrick.

East Down DC Fran Rowlatt-McCormick said: “We had a strong contingent for the dressage, having spent much training time over the winter with the Newsams, Penny Sangster, Terry Boon and Nicola Manningham-Buller… this paid off at Areas.”

Caoimhe Crozier was the Open winner and the East Down team of Caoimhe, along with Kate Watson and Troy Watson took the Open team win. The Novice teams put up strong performances, taking team third and fourth, while the Grassroots competitors also did East Down proud.
