A really fun day’s eventing was had by all on Sunday, August 18 at Lisbane Farm’s one-day event.

The day kicked off with some super dressage, worthy of comment by judge Fiona Morrow, who was delighted to have such competitively ridden tests and well mounted riders. Notably, Heather Fulton made her trip from Derry worthwhile, with a smashing dressage score of 20.75 to lead the 90cm class and bag a win at the end of the day.

Eric had built a lovely straightforward little show jumping course for the 75cm competitors to get them off to a great start. The bigger classes were very competitive, with show jumping penalties featuring in the final scores.

As ever, the super safe sand tracks at Lisbane Farm ensured great going for all the classes and the course had Eric’s signature mix of testing and educational fences. Once again, a big thank you to the lovely sponsors, Baileys Horse Feeds, Kingsfield Haylage and Equine vet services, Lougherne Stud Performance horses and to the volunteers and helpers, who made the day happen!

There is an invitation to all to come along and have a go next Sunday, August 25, when they will do it all again!
