THE Tattersalls Cheltenham April Sale will take place at Park Paddocks, Newmarket on Friday, April 23 at 1pm.

Following on from a very successful Cheltenham March Sale at Park Paddocks, which saw a clearance rate of 93%, Tattersalls look forward to hosting the Cheltehham April Sale at a proven venue with vendors and purchasers in attendance.

Tattersalls Cheltenham graduates continue to excel at the highest level – Grade 1 winners this season include ‘Envoi Allen’, ‘Monkfish’, ‘Shishkin’, ‘Sir Gerhard’, ‘Chantry House’ the dual Grade 1 winner at Cheltenham and Aintree, as well as the Aintree Novice Hurdle winner ‘Belfast Banter’.

ENTRIES

The catalogue is made up of 44 winning and placed point to pointers and bumper horses:

19 winning and placed four-year-olds;

25 winning and placed five-year-olds.

Exciting entries added to the sale inlcude:

‘American Mike’, the well-bred four-year-old ‘Mahler’ gelding was the 20-length winner of his Maiden point to point at Cork for Sean Doyle.

‘Vina Ardanza’, the four-year-old son of ‘Califet’ was the impressive debut winner of the bumper on Ayr’s Scottish Grand National day card for Stuart Crawford.

‘Ash Tree Meadow’, the five-year-old son of ‘Bonbon Rose’ was a facile 12-length winner of the Five-year-old Maiden point to point at Fairyhouse for Donnchadh Doyle.

‘Dondiam’, the four-year-old son of ‘Diamond Boy’ was the debut winner of the Tattersalls Cheltenham sponsored Four and Five-year-old Maiden point to point at Chaddesley Corbett for Fran Nimmo.

‘Fancy Stuff’, the well-bred daughter of ‘Presenting’ ran out the taking winner of the Four-year-old Mares Maiden point to point at Fairyhouse on her debut for Cormac Doyle.

Sales horses will be available to view at Park Paddocks from 1.00pm on Thursday, April 22 and from 8.00am on Friday, April 23.

Pre-sale veterinary certificates and race replays will be available to view on the Tattersalls Cheltenham website.
