Family fun in store at Downpatrick Racecourse

WITH the school holidays getting underway, families across the country are looking for fun ways to fill the long summer days. One outing that will be a sure-fire hit with the kids is a trip to Family Fun Raceday at Downpatrick Racecourse on Wednesday, July 13, with turnstiles opening at 12.30pm. This popular event always draws a big crowd thanks to its winning combination of exciting attractions, spectacular racing (with the first of seven horse races off at 3.10pm) and great atmosphere. And kids under 16 go free!*

Family Fun Raceday at Downpatrick Racecourse is held annually, but due to Covid hasn’t been able to take place since 2019 and the Team at the track are very much looking forward to welcoming families back for a fun-filled day.

Activities on the day include: Zorbing, Alpacas, Falconry, Kids Quads, Bouncy Castles, Talent Competitions, Kids Races on the Racetrack, Dog Agility, Face Painting, Disney Characters, Dinosaur Show, Kids Show jumping on Foot and so much more…

*Children under 16 go free on the day when accompanied by an adult (maximum two children per adult). Family Passes are available to include two Adults and two Children. Pre-book your Family Pass online to guarantee your Kids Goodie Bags on arrival. Early bird rates are currently available to book online, where Family Passes are just £30 and General Admission is £15. Early Bird offers end on Friday, July 8.
