CAVAN Horse Sales followed their upward trend to experience a fantastic end to the sales year. Growth in Turnover, Percentage Sold and Average Price all continued upwards, resulting in some intense trading both ringside and online.
The Performance Sale witnessed fantastic trade, with very active bidding on the many Lots on offer – buyers surely made their presence felt. ‘McGaw’, a four-year-old chestnut gelding by ‘Scrapman’, achieved the top price of €11,800.
With a near packed house and an extremely busy online bidding trade, turnover was over 70%, with a lot of these purchases going overseas.
