THE last week in the Show jumping Series at Lusk Equestrian was held on Sunday, May 16, with another good turnout – including some last
minute entries from
those that had in-tended to compete at the Punchestown Event, which was abandoned due to heavy rain. There was no rain at Knockany, with the show taking place in glorious sunshine.
There were also some competitors who came to have a practice round over the course before the Two-phase event this Sunday and to make sure they were in top form.
The McEvoy team from Ballyward went
in with all guns blazing, with Dan winning the 70cm on ‘Indie’ and Liam winning the 90cm again on ‘Indie’ – didn’t she do the team proud?
Entries are being taken now for the Two-phase event on Sunday, May 23, with classes at 1m, 85cm and 70cm. Numbers will be limited, so get your entry in early – contact Sarah on 07840 117132.
The Two-Phase will
be followed by a Go As You Please on May 29 and 30, starting 10am.
