Fire safety talk at Faughanvale

THE members at Faughanvale Stables Pony Club Centre, Greysteel, recently had a theory lesson with a difference!

Two fire officers, from Crescent Link Fire Station, attended their theory session to discuss fire safety, both at home and around the yard. Beginning in the indoor, the kids were very engaged from start to finish, discussing all the good practices and the things they can improve.

Despite the heavy rain, the children enthusiastically moved outdoors to be shown around the fire engine. They were shown the type of items carried by the engine and then discussed the call outs attended by Fire and Rescue Services.

NIFRS (Northern Ireland Fire and Rescue Service) officers delivered a very informative and engaging talk and the children were awarded their Pony Club fire safety badge.
