First Ballymena Show a Slemish Hall success

Saturday, November 7, saw a packed Slemish Hall once again. It has been empty far too long due to Covid restrictions.

A big thank you to James McNeill Hardware, Broughshane, for the very generous sponsorship.

Thanks also to secretary Dermot Gardiner and the committee of Ballymena Poultry Club for their hard work in making the show such a success.

The following people also gave up their time to travel some considerable distances to judge the large number of birds present from the tremendous entry of 1,100:

Congratulations to the Fullerton family on their show champion, a home bred White Crested Black Poland pullet.

Adams and McLaren were in close contention winning reserve with their Birchen Grey Carlisle.
