Flurry of activity at Mid Ulster Show Jumpers training show

MID Ulster Show Jumpers held their first training show of the year on Saturday, August 6, with delightful weather. The field was a flurry of activity, with smartly presented pon-ies and smiling children. The fledgling class had what is believed to be a record of 24 entries, all of whom got clear rounds and won lovely trophies!

The horse classes were hard fought and Trevor Johnston, with age and experience, beating the younger riders’ enthusiasm.

Many thanks to all the competitors. Judges on the

day were Mrs Evelyn Brown (horses) and Mr Sam McMaster in the pony ring; thanks also to Lyndon McKee for his stunning photography; Debbie and Tamsin for keeping everyone fed and watered; the arena parties and ladies in the entry box. The next event is a silver perpetual show on September 17. Organisers hope to see you all there!
