The NI Limousin Cattle Club plans to run the “Forever in Red Genes” online show again this year.
The show will run with a similar format to last year.
It is not only for pedigree Limousin cattle – commercial Limousin sired cattle can enter a separate category.
The pedigree section will welcome the addition of two new classes for a Cow with Calf at Foot and Best Stock Bull.
Pictures need to be submitted to the NI club page or alternatively via Whatsapp or email.
Animals will be judged anonymously by an independent judge.
Last year the NILCC got everyone involved in their online show with nearly 50 animals participating.
If you have this year’s winner at home you will need to submit your pictures and animal details before Sunday, June 13.
If you have any further queries please contact Tara (club secretary) on +44 7881 435042. Judging will commence week beginning June 14. Entries can be made via NI Limousin Cattle Club Facebook page, by calling +44 7881 435042, via WhatsApp or email firstname.lastname@example.org
The club’s executive committee, after consulting with Swatragh mart manager Paul Coyle, has cancelled the pedigree breeding sale planned for tomorrow (Friday, May 28).
The club said it had not been an easy decision but have been forced on it by circumstances entirely beyond its control.
