THE Glen Harriers held their AGM on Tuesday, October 1 in the Village Inn, Dunloy, by kind permission of Mr Seamus McMullan. The evening gave an opportunity to present a cheque to the family of the late Frankie McMullan. The money will be sent to ‘Frankie’s Memorial Nursery School’ in Nakuru; a charity close to Frankie.
The Glen Harriers sub-committee were very busy over the summer months and raised much-needed funds for Cancer Focus NI and other cancer charities. The Club wish to extend their thanks to Melissa Lemon and her team for taking on the summer activities; this was a welcome initiative, which gave opportunities for the Club and followers to come together and raise funds for very worthy charities.
The first hunt for Glen Harriers 2019/20 season will be held on Saturday, October 19 at Mullan Road, Ballymoney, meeting for 12 noon to ride out at 12.30pm. Visitors are welcome, but MUST make contact prior to the hunt for permission.
The Club wish to thank everyone that has supported them in any way; landowners, caterers, help with setting up and taking down hunts; working together promises that the 2019/20 season, with everyone’s help, will be one to remember.
Keep up to date for hunt dates and venues and, not forgetting the annual dinner dance, via Facebook.
