THURSDAY, June 9 saw another good turnout of horses and riders compete at Connell Hill (Randalstown) in their Summer SJI horse league. Competition was strong throughout the day, with Sarah Bailie on her own ‘Lisnamorrows Echoizer’ taking the top spot in 1.10m class.
Jonathan Smyth secured the top three placings in 1.20m class on ‘Keelnacally Cobra Clover’, ‘Larkhill Cruise’ and ‘Mr Basil’ respectively.
A big thank you goes to Mr Will Crean for continuing to build super courses and to judges Mrs Linda Skillen and Pauline McAuley.
Show jumping continues this Thursday, June 16, with SJI Summer Horse League and on Saturday, June 18, with Horse and Pony Training Show, classes start at 50cm and run to 1.30m, so there is something for everyone.
