‘Hard Times’ triumphs at The Meadows

- Advertisment -

THE most recent leg of the Meadows SJI Horse Series took place during a busy day last Saturday. Playing host to their regular unregistered jumping in addition to the SJI Series, The Meadows was once again a hive of activity.

Recording a win in the 1.30m class, regular attender Niamh Fitzpatrick had a busy day at the Meadows. On board Quality Sport Horses’ ‘Hard Times’, Fitzpatrick stopped the clock ahead of her closest rival Jordan Campbell, who was unable to catch her, leaving a 10 second gap between first and second.

SJI Horse Show Jumping will return on Saturday, September 25, with the first leg of the SJI Ulster Region Autumn Pony Series coming to the Meadows on Saturday, September 11, with unregistered jumping moving across to Sunday, September 12. This will provide the perfect opportunity for those attending the first leg of the MEC Inter-Schools’ league taking place on September 18.

Details for all these competitions can be found on the website: www.themec.co.uk.
