JUST a reminder that the wonderful St. Patrick’s Coast Ride is being held on Saturday, September 3. Entries are open and are due to close on Tuesday, August 30 – so get your entry in now!
This ride sets off from Downpatrick Racecourse and offers pleasure ride distances of 10 or 20 miles (as well as various competitive trail ride options for members). It takes in some amazing scenery in the area, including fields, forests, old railway track, gallops and beaches (depending on the distance), with just a few short road sections – it truly is a stunning route!
Vetted Pleasure Rides are available at no extra cost – pleasure riders are automatically entered into the competition for the Pleasure Rider Trophy, special awards and groups of three or four riders can also enter as a team (the best three scores will count).
On the Saturday evening, there will be a celebratory party to include a prize giving, Farmers Night and ILDRA’s 30th Anniversary (with cake!), so don’t forget to buy your tickets when you enter!
If you do not plan to ride, but could help on the day, please contact ILDRA.
Organisers look forward to seeing you at Downpatrick on September 3!
