CONDITIONS were ideal for Saturday’s annual match organised by the Loup Ploughing Society, held on the lands of the Wright family, Lismoney Road, Cookstown.

The championship of the field went to Matthew Simms, Donegal.

The judges were Leonard Bell and Herbie Stevenson, Donegal, Harold Simms, Carrickfergus, and Billy Campbell, Moneymore.

The awards were presented on the field by Mrs Sonia Wright.
