McCrackens Real Ale, a leading craft brewery, has been named ‘Best Real Ale Brewery’ in Ireland in the Irish Enterprise Awards 2021.
McCrackens is based in Portadown, County Armagh, and was founded by businessman Ryan McCracken.
The company sells ale throughout Ireland and into Great Britain. Mr McCracken established the craft brewery on the back of a home-brew hobby in September 2018.
Mr McCracken, commenting on the award, says: “We are delighted to have gained this important endorsement of the quality of our business and products.
“It should help us as we continue to develop sales of our range of brews, especially in Northern Ireland and the Irish Republic.”
The awards are hosted annually by the EU Business News for the fourth consecutive year. Known for its reputation as one of the best places to do business today, Ireland remains home to some of the world’s most pioneering enterprises.
Following the many challenges faced by businesses across the world in recent months, the awards recognise those who remain committed to demonstrating outstanding levels of excellence, customer service and innovation in 2021.
Regardless of how large or small a business may be, all participants in the Irish Enterprise Awards are judged purely on merit; this approach enables it to ensure that only the most deserving are acknowledged.
The EU Business News team gather information independently from a variety of publicly accessible sources which are assessed alongside any material supplied by a nominating party or the nominee themselves.
Final judgement is cast based on various criteria such as: business performance, longevity, business growth (either sustained or rapid) and any significant innovations or feedback.
