THE initial entries for the Tattersalls Ascot July Sale, which takes place on Tuesday, July 12, is now online and can be viewed at tattersallsascot.com. The catalogue currently numbers 93 initial Lots and comprises 35 Fillies/ Mares In/Out of Training, 54 Colts/ Geldings In/Out of Training, 4 Point-to-Pointers and 12 Store horses.
The Tattersalls Ascot July Sale has been well supported with entries from Beckhampton House Stables, Cullentra House Stables, East Everleigh Stables, Faringdon Place Stables, Gainsborough Throughbreds, Godolphin, Hambleton Lodge Stables, Lodge Hill Stables, Park House Stables, Pond House Stables, Saxon Gate, Seven Barrows, Shade Oak Stud and West Ilsley Stables.
Godolphin have seven Lots catalogued, including last year’s Cambridgeshire Heritage Handicap winner ‘Bedouin’s Story’; the Saeed Bin Suroor trained gelding is a six-time winner, who is currently rated 109 by the BHA. Other highlights include the Group 3 placed ‘Epic Hero’, who finished fourth in the Group 1 Dubai Turf at Meydan on his most recent start. He also boasts a current BHA Rating of 109.
A total of 12 Store horses have been catalogued and the sires represented include ‘Black Sam Bellamy’, ‘Great Pretender’, ‘Pether’s Moon’, ‘Royal Anthem’ and ‘Telescope’.
