THE Harbour Inn, Annalong was the venue last Saturday for Kilkeel and District Riding Club, as they celebrated their 30 year anniversary, along with their dinner dance and presentation night for 2020/21. Acting Chairperson Jason Hanna, spoke of how proud the club were of all of their members past and present, and would not have imagined the success their riders have had when the club first started. Countless success at local and county shows, numerous NI Riding Club individual and team championship titles, British Riding Club championship title, success at International shows such as Dublin and Balmoral and selection for Team Ireland European Championships in three-day eventing just to name a few.
Mr Hanna went on to say, unfortunately due to Covid, the club were unable to hold many events, but they do look forward to a busy year, which has already kicked off with their New Year League in January and Members Show in March.
