KR Equine Veterinary Ser-vices Ltd is delighted to
welcome David Rendle CertEM (IntMed) Dip ECEIM MRCVS, an RCVS and European specialist in Equine Internal Medicine, to oversee a Gastro-scope clinic at the practice on February 3.
David’s attendance will follow up on his previous successful gastroscope clinic.
The gastroscopy clinic well be of relevance to those horse owners who suspect that their horses may be suffering from Equine Gastric Ulcer Syndrome (EGUS).
Clinical indicators include weight loss, lack of appetite, poor performance, changes in behaviour and repeated bouts of mild colic. Signs however can be vague and non-specific and the only definitive way to diagnose gastric ulcers is by scoping.
David will also be at the clinic to gastroscope alongside veterinary surgeons Chris Akkari and Hannah Anderson.
Appointments for the day are now being taken and will be based at KR Equine Clinic, 53 Ringneill Road, Comber, at a discounted rate.
To book an appointment for your equine please contact the office on 028 97228513 to reserve a slot.
