The Lammas Fair Heavy Horse Show is returning on Saturday, August 27, after missing two years due to Covid.
It kicks off at 11.30am in the Sheskburn House car park and consists of two sections – Clydesdales and Cobs, with various classes within each.
A new committee has been formed to keep the show going in memory of the late Martin Gillan, who was pivotal in organising the event.
Tea and sandwiches will be available for participants in the mayor’s parlour after the show.
