UP until the end of March, Royal Highland Show visitors can secure their tickets at reduced prices ahead of a ticket price increase on April 1.
The rise in cost is due to a Government VAT rate increase that comes into effect in April.
Up till March 31, tickets can still be bought at the reduced rate of £30 (plus service charge), before increasing to £32.50 (plus service charge) on April 1.
In a change from the usual format, showgoers are required to pre-purchase entry tickets for specific days (Thursday-Sunday) and car parking tickets in advance. Tickets will not be available to purchase on the gate.
Organisers the Royal Highland and Agricultural Society of Scotland expect the 200th anniversary event to sell out, so advise visitors to book early to avoid disappointment.
As always, children aged 15 and under will go free when accompanied by a paying adult. Free child tickets still need to be ordered in advance alongside adult tickets to permit entry.
Ticket information (from April 1):
n Adult day single admit: £32.50 (plus £2.15 service charge);
n Children 15 and under will go free with a paying adult (maximum two children per paying adult);
n Parking £15 per day, two-day parking £20, four-day parking £25;
n Tickets must be bought in advance from the Royal Highland Show website.
