Love Your Food Show coming to Belfast

THE first ever Love Your Food Show, to be held at the TEC, Queens Road, Belfast, on June 9-11, has partnered with The Trussell Trust, the UK charity that provides emergency food and support to people locked in poverty, while also campaigning for change to end the need for food banks in the future.

At the Love Your Food Show visitors will get the chance to find out about the work of The Trussell Trust in Northern Ireland and learn about the rewards of volunteering at a food bank from the volunteers themselves. Food donations welcome on the day, or you can make cash donations online.

Love Your Food runs alongside the popular Love Your Home Show at the Titanic Exhibition Centre, Belfast.

There will be over 70 local companies taking part in the food event and the audience is expected to exceed the 20,000 mark.

Love Your Food’s exciting line-up includes:

n Local Artisan Food – supported by NI Food;

n The Producers’ Table – an opportunity to sample and experience the produce for sale;

n NI Distillers and brewers – local producers sampling and selling their products;

n Live cooking demos with resident chef Jack O’Keeffe at the Kitchen Theatre;

n Street Food Café.
