ON Saturday, September 21, Lower Mourne Vintage Club held its 11th annual show in Annalong.

The day started brightly with a large number of tractors and vintage vehicles joining the parade from the Marine Park to the show ground. The day was a huge success, attracting what felt like more visitors than ever before.

Among the usual attractions this year were two craft tents, the Northern Ireland Fire & Rescue Service with a demonstration and VR headsets to give a first-person view of the great work it does, sheepdog demonstrations and local traditional crafts centred around a mini version of a traditional Mourne cottage.

As ever the show could not run without the tremendous work from members and volunteers from Marie Curie – a huge thank you goes out to all of them.
