A leading Northern Ireland agricultural machinery specialist has hosted the NI Office Minister of State to discuss the impact Covid-19 has had on local manufacturing businesses.
SlurryKat, based in Waringstown, welcomed Robin Walker MP on Friday, July 3. The County Armagh firm is at the forefront of innovative slurry handling solutions for agricultural and biogas industries.

the manufacturing facility by CEO
The Minister, who took up his position in February 2020, was interested in discussing how the business has fared during the pandemic.
Mr Cairns explained the agri sector appears to be holding its own and Slurrykat has seen a significant upturn in orders since late April. He said: “We are currently seeing significant growth in orders.
“Right through the pandemic farmers continued to function as normal on their farms, producing much needed food supplies. I think the public now appreciates more than ever, the importance of locally produced food.”
