Country singer/songwriter Nathan Carter makes a welcome return to UTV to make a guest appearance on UTV Life with Pamela Ballantine for the end of year Christmas programme due to air on Friday (December 21).
Filmed in the new UTV studios in Belfast, Nathan speaks to Pamela about his rise to fame, starting as a young boy singing in Liverpool, to filling stadiums all over the UK and Ireland. He also gives some details on his recently launched autobiography Born For The Road.
Nathan talks about his newly released album with the same name, Born For The Road, most of which was recorded in Nashville, and tells Pamela how he’ll be spending Christmas this year in his hometown Liverpool with his family. Nathan closes the show with a lovely Christmas song.
Pamela also spends time with world famous chef and restaurateur, Jean Christophe Novelli in his restaurant at the AC Marriott hotel, where he shares his ‘turkey with a twist’ recipe and gives Pamela some top tips for the perfect Christmas dinner.
Reporter Rita Fitzgerald takes us out and about, with great ideas on what you can do in the week between Christmas and New Year, including storytelling in Castle Espie; a charity tractor run; and the play The Elf and the Shoemaker in the MAC in Belfast.
