KRAMER-Werke GmbH presented the new all-wheel steer loader KL60.8, with which the wheel loader portfolio range reached a new size class, at the EuroTier show last year in Germany.
Fitted with efficient load sensing hydraulics, innovative ecospeedPRO drive and the time-tested and proven Deutz engine makes this wheel loader the perfect partner for the sophisticated agriculturist.
The Kramer brand stands for all-wheel steer loaders, telescopic wheel loaders and telehandlers with extreme manoeuvrability, all-terrain mobility and high efficiency. The Kramer KL60.8 also impresses with maximum stability, manoeuvrability and constant payload thanks to its time-tested and proven undivided vehicle frame.
As with all models of the 8-series, all-wheel, crab and front wheel steering are available as standard.
Market development manager Adrian Wilson for Kramer in Ireland is particularly looking forward to the new all-wheel steer loader KL60.8.
“With a bucket tipping load of 6,100kg and a stacking payload of 4,200kg, the KL60.8 opens up a new size class in the Kramer wheel loader product portfolio,” explains Mr Wilson.
The new Kramer flagship is driven by a 136hp Deutz TCD 3.6 engine of exhaust stage IV. The exhaust after-treatment is carried out by DOC and SCR. The even more powerful Deutz TCD 4.1 with 156hp is available to the customer as an option. Here, the exhaust is treated with DOC, DPF and SCR.
As a special innovation, the model features the new ecospeedPRO hydrostatic wide-angle travel drive with an optional 370cc displacement volume for increased tractive force and driving dynamics. The continuously variable hydrostatic high speed transmission with 45° turning angle of the hydraulic motor has been further developed by Kramer.
In addition to the positive properties hydrostatic drives are known for – such as simple reversing, precision control, inching and servo – the wide conversion range of the 45° technology also allows continuity throughout the entire speed range from 0 to 40km/h without shifting and thus without loss of thrust and tractive forces.
In typical agricultural situations, eg, handling work in the Y-cycle, there is a high demand for constant thrust and tractive forces at low travel speeds. With the mentioned complete omission of shifting gears the ecospeedPRO transmission exactly meets these requirements. This in turn has very high driving comfort as a result, as neither tractive effort interruptions nor shift jerking occur. For the end user this offers a comfortable, steady quality of driving and a harmonious noise development.
The ecospeedPRO travel drive is equipped with intelligent Smart Driving engine rpm reduction as standard. At constant speed, this optimally adapts the engine speed to the driving requirements. When the maximum speed is reached, this results in reduced noise, lower fuel consumption and reduced load on the individual components. With ecospeedPRO, the engine speed can be reduced to 1,550rpm at maximum travel speed.
With 150 l/min or 187 l/min (option), load-sensing hydraulic performance, fast and powerful work cycles are the norm. Depending on the customer’s requirements, an extended loader unit with a bucket pivot point of 4,200mm is available as an option to the standard loader unit with a bucket pivot point of 3,760mm.
It goes without saying that an extremely sturdy (heavy-duty) hydraulic quickhitch facility with a 61.5mm wide support and a 50mm thick lock pin is available for the toughest applications. The large number of attachments makes the wheel loader perfect for flexible application in agriculture. Whether for feeding, straw stacking or mucking out – this machine is versatile.
In addition to the impressive performance features, the KL60.8 also impresses with a completely new cab and operating concept. The cab concept with ergonomically designed operator’s controls offers fatigue-free and efficient working thanks to excellent all-round visibility. The 7’’ LCD display with integrated rear view camera provides the operator with all usage and consumption data at a glance. The associated Jog Dial control element enables intuitive operation of all functions.
The standard equipment is already extensive and includes, beside the 7’’ LCD display, automatic climate control and automatic bucket reverse, reversing fan, four work lights and a Bluetooth radio with USB 2.0. Furthermore, the model complies with the new EC tractor directive.
The package of efficient load sensing hydraulics, innovative ecospeedPRO drive and the time-tested and proven Deutz engine makes this new Kramer wheel loader KL60.8 a good choice for the sophisticated agriculturist. As usual with Kramer, the vehicle can be adjusted to the individual requirements with a variety of performance options.
