Set in a secluded rural setting in Leitrim, County Down, Pine Tree Hollow Glamping encompasses all that is important to owner Bridie Smyth.
Bridie and her late husband, Patrick, first dreamed of their glamping site back in 2015 with it opening in August 2018.
Completion of the site was a labour of love for the couple, their friends and family, and now stands as a lasting legacy to Patrick, who passed away a short time after the site opened.
Providing nature, heritage, wildlife, excellent local tourist facilities and the opportunity to spend quality time with family and friends while staying somewhere a little bit different, Pine Tree Hollow Glamping provides the perfect base for exploring the stunning Mourne/Slieve Croob area and livelier towns of Newcastle and Castlewellan.
Glamping isn’t for everyone but if you like the idea of camping and all that it brings… but maybe not the idea of sleeping in a tent or even a wooden pod, then Pine Tree Hollow Glamping might be just what you’re looking for.
Guests can enjoy a comfortable night’s sleep in one of three unique cosy glamping cabins, The Yurt, sleeping seven, The Wagon, sleeping five, or The Beehive, also sleeping five.
All the cabins have differing but unique styles, inside and out, all with their own spacious outdoor area, including an outdoor kitchen, bbq, fire pit and picnic area.
The new all weather communal area, The Shack, is available for all guests to use and has a covered kitchen area, dining facilities and an indoor barbecue.
Two wet rooms with combined toilet/showers are shared between guests and are located beside the cabins and the animal paddocks.
