ON behalf of the Ploughing Academy for Northern Ireland, Brian McNally handed over a cheque for £800 to Wesley Henderson for Macmillan Cancer Support at the Ulster Hospital, Dundonald.

The money was raised at the academy’s highly successful charity ploughing match, which attracted 40 competitors to the lands of Wesley and Pamela Henderson, Millbrooke Road, Bangor, back in September.

The Ploughing Academy for Northern Ireland would like to thank the Henderson family for hosting the ploughing match, the sponsors, judges, competitors, coaches, officials, visitors and everyone who helped in any way to make the event a resounding success.
