Santa Claus and assisting elves are planning to meet good girls and boys this Saturday (November 26) to discuss their Christmas present wishes at The Ballance House, on a farm between Lisburn and Glenavy, from 11am to 4pm.
Santa and team will be snug beside the fireplace in a Victorian parlour, often simply called the ‘good room’ in days gone by.
Hosted by the Ulster New Zealand Trust, “Christmas at the Ballance House” is a treat for all ages and includes a craft fair, A World Away display and seasonal eats in the quaint tea barn.
Spend a pound and help a good cause – and perhaps win a unique £60 Christmas Hamper. Tickets are available at the ‘Nothing More Than a Fiver’ stall.
Entry the the event is free for children and just £4 for adults with a complimentary warm festive beverage.
Good girls and boys, after talking to Santa about their Christmas Eve wish list, receive an extra special gift.
Parents and grandparents are urged to book online at www.thebllancehouse.com for £5 per child so that Santa and Elf team can minimise queuing and have an age related present waiting.
So put that magical Christmas wonder look on young faces by booking early to greet Santa at the Ballance House.
And after meeting the man in red and white remember to relax in the tea barn where songstress Frances Mulley, with Ken Robb on keyboard, will perform traditional carols.
n A fitting end to an affordable, value for money seasonal outing for all at The Ballance House, 118A Lisburn Road, Glenavy BT29 4NY.
