Semple takes the Border Leicester show title

THE sun shone on the Border Leicester National Show at Limavady Show. A great day was had by all with Matt Steel, Kilmarnock, having the enviable job of judging the classes, which attracted a good turnout of sheep, giving the breeders the chance to showcase the best of the Border Leicester sheep.

Results were as follows:

Overall Champion – William Semple (Ram Lamb)

Reserve Overall Champion – William Semple (Aged Ewe)

Male Champion – William Semple, Reserve Male Champion – Harold Dickey (Aged Ram)

Female Champion – William Sem-ple, Reserve Female Champion – Stephen Wallace (Ewe Lamb)
