SERC’s Lisburn Job Club presents cheque to Air Ambulance NI

THE Job Club team at South Eastern Regional College has been busy all year fundraising as part of its Duke of Edinburgh Bronze and Silver awards.

Susan Murray, lecturer, said: “There has been no let-up in the number of activities organised by the students, from quizzes to baking buns, making and selling festive decorations and completing a sponsored walk along the Lagan Towpath. They have planned, organised and donated their time to raise a whopping £500 which they were thrilled to present to Air Ambulance.  Everyone at SERC is very proud of what they have achieved, and I congratulate them on this fantastic achievement for a great cause.”
