SJI Horse Show jumping Series continues at The Meadows

A good day’s jumping was had by all who attended the Meadows Equestrian Centre, as their SJI Horse Show jumping Series continued on Saturday, alongside the popular unregistered classes.

It was a good day for Angela Waras, who won the 1.30m on this occasion. Riding Hugh Ward’s ‘Diamant De Semilly’ gelding, ‘Diamant De La Mer’, Waras put in a foot-perfect performance on the nine-year-old grey gelding to ensure she took home the winner’s rosette.

In the 1.20m, the consistent ‘Ludo’s Promise’, owned by Michelle McElhatton and ridden by Barry McCormack, took top honours, ahead of Beverley Irwin and Markus Buser’s ‘Dollar Star Z’, with just 0.25 seconds separating both rounds.

The SJI Horse Jumping at the Meadows continues this weekend, with the Five Star and Youngster Tour Qualifiers.
