WITH the slurry season ban ending at midnight this Friday, January 31, farmers and agriculture contractors alike have been turning their attention to upgrading or replacing their current slurry equipment.
Slurry is an important business for Tyrone-based Drumlish Farm Machinery, which is an approved dealer for locally manufactured SlurryKat.
Over the years SlurryKat has become a world leader in manufacturing an impressive line-up of slurry tankers and equipment. SlurryKat has continued to prove that it is an expert in slurry with the launch of its new SlurryKat Duo Dribble Bars. It has launched three new models ranging from 7.5m to 12m with a new lightweight design that is 30 per cent lighter than its predecessor. It is manufactured entirely in special high tensile yield steel, which SlurryKat has not done before.
In addition to upgrading its dribble bars, SlurryKat has continued to invest and perfect its range of slurry tankers. It is therefore no surprise that its tankers have a reputation for having both a waiting list and one of the highest residual values on the market.
According to sales manager Gerard Barrett at Drumlish Farm Machinery, the SlurryKat range is unrivalled.
He said: “Due to the demand for SlurryKat tankers there is normally a long waiting list.
“We have a range of SlurryKat tankers available on-site in time for slurry season, but many farmers and contractors have also been pre-ordering due to the level of customisation options available.”
Drumlish Farm Machinery also stocks SlurryKat’s impressive line-up of agitators, nurse tanks, pumps, Oroflex hoses and has an onsite service and parts department.
Similar to SlurryKat, Drumlish Farm Machinery also operates an agricultural contracting business and a working farm.
